Xelah and her girls.
I met Xelah and her girls last December. She sent me pictures and described each of the girl’s personalities. So when I finally met them in Shangri-la, I already had a little idea who was who. One is an artist and loves photography while the other one liked k-pop.
Xelah reminds me of the sea during sunrise. Her soft singsongy voice is like the sound of the waves as it dances towards the shore. How she lovingly looks at her daughters touched me. There is no greater love than a mother’s love. It is always genuine and forever.
I hope thru these pictures, I was able to capture the relationship they have with one another. I hope one day when her girls are all grown up and making their paths, they’ll look at these photos and remember that once upon a time their mama bugged them for a photoshoot just because.
