I

It was refreshing to be up in the mountains yesterday early morning. The garden was so alive. The bed of flowers was so inviting. Yellow sunflowers were my favorite. I’ve always wanted to be in a place surrounded by giant sunflowers. The closest to that dream was found in Sirao garden.

An early morning shoot takes a lot of energy. Because prep time, especially for little ones, takes extra effort. It isn’t for everybody, but it is worth waking up for. The light was super nice. It was cold and we were the only ones there.

December is a busy month for wedding suppliers. I only have two weddings this month. Small ones! Because that’s what I’ve been envisioning. Small weddings. Heartfelt ones! Less dazzle and decor and more realness. It breaks my heart whenever clients send me a plethora of Pinterest pegs that I need to follow because Instagram is life. I get lost when I shoot weddings and I find it hard to look for authenticity.

This month I will be busy with family sessions.  Some of it I will be shooting for Sweet Escape. December is indeed a festive month spent with family.
