Hale Manna always has that special place in my heart! I’d go there in a heartbeat with my camera of course. I wouldn’t mind the distance. It’s magical and it’s true to what it means. Hale Manna is a place of good energy. Every time I leave the place, I’d leave a piece of me. A thought that I’d be back soon. But soon can sometimes take a little while.
Last July, I went there to photograph Ruthie’s family. It was a short family session, but I was so invested in it that I didn’t mind traveling home late. It was also the perfect work vacation to unwind and enjoy food and family. The best light there comes early morning and towards sunset.
