These two made me giggle and laugh yesterday. They were funny and silly and very much in love. I did a little bit of coaching (look here and there, hold hands), but the rest was THEM.

When I met Brian a few days before their shoot to discuss the concept, he told me that he wanted something that was so THEM. Nothing too posed, stiff and choreographed. It makes my heart soar every time I hear these words.

Because that’s how I want to photograph couples.

I always say JUST BE YOU. I find it hard to make something that isn’t there. I struggle every time I do photoshoots that buries the realness of the moment. So, I think, it is safe to say that my journey as a photographer came to a point when I would look for deepness rather than just what’s pretty and perfect. Perfect, for me, are those moments in between, laughter, unguarded stares and peaceful silence shared by two people. I want to make photographs that would take you right back the way that moment felt and I try to freeze those moments the best way I know how.
