Plantation Bay Wedding: Edward & Jen

Last Saturday, my team and I photographed Edward and Jen’s union. It was a beautiful beach wedding in Plantation Bay.  It rained a few hours before the ceremony. It got everybody worried. But I think the rain was perfect. It gave us a cool breeze before the ceremony started.

My favorite moment during the wedding was when Jen walked down the long walkway in the middle of the water. She tried to hold back tears while everybody looked on.  My heart ached when she reached the end of the walkway and found her father there. He was in a wheelchair with oxygen tanks to assist his breathing. She hugged her sister first. Both of them were crying but my eyes were glued to their father. He looked at them with a contented heart. Jen hugged her father with all the love spilling from her heart. The kind that you would feel it too.

I love sentimental weddings. I love weddings that aren’t covered by all the details but rather emotions.

Congratulations Edward and Jenelyn. Thank you for being so warm. You are the kind of humans that I want to be around with. Enjoy Japan!
