I

C&J_ web001 It’s 2014!  Time to update this space.  One of my new year’s resolutions is to blog weddings right away — in less than two days.  I noticed that I sometimes forget about details like my most favorite moment or the thoughts running through my head or the wonderful people I met there.  Soooo resolution numero uno — blog weddings right away.

Number two.  I want to be more personal and candid with my thoughts.  I used to blog heavily, but then life happened which made me more guarded.  I went to my safe zone and sounded so curt instead of open.  It is important for me that my clients know me – my story and all, so that I could effectively tell their story through pictures.  Does that sound right??

I’d like to share to you a beautiful wedding we shot last November. Cyrille & Jecyn Kerineg // November 5, 2013 // Photo by Shutterfairy Photo // Video by Digital Minds // HMUA Emi Ayag // Coordination by Joan Lapus of Belle Mariée Wedding Events // Florist | Stylist Gideon Hermosa

Jecyn bought her wedding gown off the rack in China.  One gown for the ceremony and another one for the reception.  Love that she was so resourceful!

A diamond is forever!!

Here’s Jecyn busy writing her vows. I’ve always wondered why churches here in Cebu does not allow couples to say their personal vows as part of the ceremony. I find it more meaningful.  Don’t you?

She promised herself to learn how to speak French.  Jecyn and her sister-in-law rehearsing a part of her speech in French.

When shooting weddings, I always look for that moment!  The varying emotions of the groom the first time he sees his bride.  Priceless!
