Bohol: Amy and Thomas
Last week I traveled to Bohol to photograph Amy and Thomas. It was a sunrise shoot! I love early mornings.
Sometimes my mind plays a trick on me when work brings me to a place where the beach is. It screams v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n. Waking up early then becomes a challenge. But for Amy and Thomas, my assistant (thank you Marites) and I woke up early and walked all the way to Alona when it was still dark. We didn’t see the sun though. It was covered with fluffy clouds. The beach was deserted. An early morning shoot is always a good idea. We didn’t have to compete with other tourists. The light was soft too.
Looking at these photos makes me want to go back and stay a while longer with no shoot and deadlines to think about. I need time to breathe to function fully again.
